We had never cruised this itinerary before and we had some time in April to cruise, so I as a Princess Platinum cruiser I jumped on it.

We flew into LAX the day before and stayed on a Princess pre-cruise package. They put us up at the airport Marriott, which is close to the airport, but not close to much else.I would have preferred to stay closer to the cruise port. We were not met at LAX by a Princess rep, but found the Marriott bus quickly. The hotel was full and we ended up with a small room next to the elevators and listen to mechanical noise all night.

On check in, we were told to have our bags ready at 8:00 am, so we rose early and got packed. At 8:00 we got a called that said they would start pick up at 9:00. At 10:00 I called and was told they were picking up. Around 10:30 our luggage was picked up. So much for getting started on time.

Balcony

Cabin BC

AVOID THIS CABIN. It is just below the smoking area on deck 16. There is noise from chairs being drug around at all hours of the day - from 5:00 am. to midnight.

Port Reviews

Puerto Vallarta

too much time wasted on the boat going out and back

Cabo San Lucas

Great time, but the park is over an hour to drive to.

Mazatlan

Only 3 stops. We saw other areas, but were not given the opportunity to get off.
