Sail Date: Mar 2016

Attracted by the itinerary, a little wary of it being a small ship, but most of the passengers and especially the crew were very friendly. Being small we could get into more interesting places and it was quick to embark/disembark.

On booking we were told the ship was to be refurbished in the next few months prior to our trip....it wasn't , so 50£ per person was credited to o url on board account. We did not use it as we had a drinks package so got it refunded in the UK.(5* for customer service)

The ship is 25 years old and it shows. Pool deck surface is scuffed and care is needed to avoid splinters when not wearing sandals. Several tiles were missing from the pool sides.

Cabin Review

Cabin Outside superior

Steward needed a push to make the bed into a double, as ordered on boooking with a double duvet....he expected us to use single ones on the double bed. Bed itself was hard, but with another duvet underneath the sheet, it was acceptable.

The cabin only has width for one bedside table, which is a nuisance.

Bathroom is compact, but it works, as long as you are normal size otherwise the shower can get turned off or hotter/colder as one shrubs down.

Port Reviews

Costa Maya

Used a taxi rather than an organised tour. Just needed some negotiations .

Puerto Limon

A simple walk around the town is interesting. No need for a tour.
