As a frequent cruise traveler (35 times on cruises w/ Carnival , Royal Caribbean , Celebrity) First time on a European cruise line ! We were excited my husband and myself ! It was the only cruise ship leaving from Port of Miami to sail to the Bermudas ! As we sailed on the first day (not even an hour later - embarkation ) we had to rescue two elderly passengers that had lost their balance and fallen on the floor ( separate scenarios ! We were so surprised to notice that not even one crew member came to their aide! That was for starters -

The breakfast at the 14 floor (on the Divina MSC) was grub ! Quality was the poorest I've ever seen ! At their restaurants , it wasn't great either ! Lunch At the buffet , lousy ! It was like feeding the "masses" - like cattle running loose !!!! Dinner , at the restaurants of very poor, poor grade and presentation ! Who ever heard or seen a soup "laddle" as dinnerware to use when ordering soup !!! Waiters took long serving meals - and if they even remembered to come back to your table and serve you !

The cocktails onboard I must admit were very reasonable in price ($6.25 for Johnny Walker Black) from $6.25 to $8.00) fantastic! The ship evenings shows were pretty good !!!!! However , many passengers who only spoke English were lost for words , because crew members and announcements are made in Italian and several foreign languages !!!!! Ask me if I'll return to cruise with MSC - the answer is "no way" not even if they gave me a "FREE" cruise ! Never Again ! They say they want the American market - well Americans have great expectations than your average European traveler (no offense)! Oh I can't forget to also mention , having to call room service for toilet paper in our stateroom LOL ! NEVER AGAIN WILL I OR ANY OF MY FAMILY WILL BOOK A CRUISE WITH THE MSC !!!!
