Flew into Miami 2 days before cruise with friends, rented a van drove down to the Keys to experience the drive. We've been to the Keys on cruises before but wanted to check out the run down. We stayed at the Hampton Inn, Blue Lagoon, near the airport and would recommend this hotel without hesitation! Embarkation was smooth and fast. Actually was on of the fastest we've every experienced, the champagne was a definite nice touch. Cabin was mid ship oceanview, a little tight but considering we were hardly there it really wasn't an issue. One thing worth mentioning is the pullout cot for the 4th person really is not comfortable due to a relatively thin mattress. We asked for a 2nd mattress be added and the problem was quickly resolved. The bathroom layout was terrific, lots of room. I must admit, our cabin steward was not the best. We were short towels most of the time and the beds were never tucked away to provide more room in the day. That being said I wouldn't let this discourage anyone, grab your own towels from the cart in the hallway or call for extras prior to needing them.

Dawn- It's a very pretty ship and has been maintained quite well. 99% of the staff were fantastic, only ran into one waiter in the Venetian that seemed to feel our presence there was an inconvenience, other than that, terrific!

Our cruise critic roll call group had a meet and greet on the first day at sea and was very well attended. Some crew members were there too, coffee and pastries were also provided. It was great to meet all the people we had previously chatted to.

Cabin Review

uncomfortable 4th cot bed, would have preferred 2 pullmans instead.
