We wanted a nice getaway with just me and the wife. Without the kids we did not feel that we wanted spend a lot of time on excursions. So we just walked around each port. Key West we did Hemingway house and walked around. Freeport you really need to do an excursion or get a day pass at a resort. The area right outside the cruise ship is safe, but it is cheaper to shop at Amazon and also cheaper to eat and drink on the ship. Nassau was interesting, we took a water taxi to Atlantis and took a normal cab back. It was a little creepy getting off the water taxi and walking to Atlantis.

Food on the ship was fine, what you expect to find. Being from Texas the steak house was good but not over the top. Sea Day brunch was the best breakfast option (try the cheesy grits) Also the Fish and Chips was an interesting find, the soup the have is really good. I tried it after seeing a lot of crew eating it. The Havana bar was really under utilized so if you had a group that just wanted to sit together, that would be a great spot.

The only real problem was trying to see the comedians, they were packed, I actually enjoyed listening outside the door one night.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Very nice cabin. There were some worn spots here and there but it was fine. Being on the Lido deck was great, just feet from most of where you want to be anyway.

Port Reviews

Key West

Took a tour of Hemingway's house and walked around.

Freeport

Take an excursion or get a day pass to a resort. Everything is a cab ride away. The private beach option was really good from all the folks that went

Galveston

The new staggerd login times really helps with getting on the ship

Nassau

Take an excursion
