We had always heard that Celebrity was a premium cruise line. So we wanted to see what a highly rated and premium cruise line had to offer. While we had a good time on the cruise overall, we were disappointed in the food quality in the dinning room and the quality of the entertainment. The service provide by the waiters (Elbert and Vanessa) in the dinning room and the cabin attendants (Mohammed and his assistant) was outstanding.

Embarkation was fairly smooth, except they only had one agent servicing the Elite level passengers which resulted in a delay. Our cabin was clean and well maintained. All areas of the ship were well maintained.

The itinerary for this cruise was excellent (Cozumel; Costa Rica; Panama; Cartagena Columbia; and, Grand Cayman). Since we had not been to Costa Rica, Panama, and Columbia before, we elected to take excursions through the ship in these ports, and they were outstanding.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We stayed close to the port, and travel to the port on Monday morning was smooth. Embarkation was efficient.

Cozumel

We have been to Cozumel several times, and elected to take a cab ($4 per person) to down town. We enjoyed hiking around the town and shopping on the plaza.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

We elected to hike around town and check our e-mail. A Burger King is located a block off the main road along the waterfront, and provides excellent wifi with a purchase.
