They say cruises are what you make it....So we made this one was amazing! From the organization, to the energy, the activities, the food and all around amazing personality and high energy of the cruise director, Chris a.k.a "Donkey", I definitely rate the Sunshine 5+ stars.

We stayed in cabins 8258 and 8260, and both rooms were perfect. Angel, our room stewart, was very attentive, and impressed us with his ability to remember all of our special needs and our names as well. On the first day, I requested ice as we bought 4 cases of soda for our room. After I asked that one time, there was always fresh ice in the morning and the afternoon.Little things like that matter to me because superb service is really hard to come by. The only drawback was that you could here people moving chairs or tables or whatever upstairs because you're right below the Lido deck. However, I grew up next to the busiest highway in NYC, so it didn't bother me one bit. In fact, it made me reminiscent of home, so I slept better than ever lol.

The food was amazing in the beginning and the end, but became somewhat bland, monotonous, and lackluster during the middle of the cruise. Guys was always great, but I guess we had too much of it because after a little while, I got sick of it. The Blue Iguana Cantina was ok...I guess I'm too much of a "gringo" and I only like crunchy tacos, so I guess that if they had that option for the tacos, I would've liked it a lot better. I'm also not a fan of burritos, so my opinion really wouldn't matter. The buffet was pretty hit or miss. The first night was amazing, but the following nights were pretty mediocre. The gentleman who manned the 24 hour pizza station after 8pm ROCKED the pizza. Best cruise pizza ever.
