We booked our cruise for March of 2016, thinking that the Majesty was leaving the RC fleet. Despite the news that Majesty will stay awhile longer, we still sailed on her. The ship does need a major refurbishment. She looks tired, with the exception of the MDR on Deck 3.
The food was very good in the MDR and good in the Windjammer. The crew was outstanding and worked hard to keep everyone happy. I also enjoyed the two shows that we attended.
Here are my gripes.
Beds weren't comfortable, but the junior suite has plenty of space, plenty of closet space, plenty of counter space in the bathroom and a much better shower head than in a standard cabin.
Because the balcony is tucked under the pool deck, you can't get wet, even in a driving rain storm.
After about the 2nd trip to Nassau, it gets to be the same. My wife has a favorite jewelry store that isn't mentioned in the on-board shopping program. But, Nassau doesn't have a lot to do for people who aren't into laying on a beach all day or snorkeling.
I learned a lot about Key West on the Conch Train tour.
We just fly into Miami the night before and fly out around noon after disembarkation.
