My husband and I recently returned, 26th March, from an 11 night cruise to New Caledonia and Fiji on Carnival Legend. I will say at the outset that we did enjoy the cruise and had some really good times. However, it could have been so much better.... We hoped to put our reviews down on a comment card at the end of the cruise, but there were none handed out, and I feel some prospective passengers might benefit from our critique.

We chose a cruise that was not in school holidays, even though it did arrive back at Easter – and there were hundreds of children on board.

The bars. We really enjoyed the Red Frog pub (which desperately needs more seating, for which there is room), but didn’t appreciate the noisy children who were also there, playing games, quite late at night. Music varied from an acoustic guitarist to the very powerful voice of Lauren and partner singing ‘soul’ and 80’s songs.
