The ship itself was okay. The destinations were fantastic! I choose to this ship based on the itinerary and the dates for my children during Spring Break. It has been 15 years since my last cruise so I was so looking forward to this vacation. I had myself, two 18 year old's and one 15 year old. We had 4 people in a balcony cabin. It was not as small as I expected, but the balcony was extremely small compared to the others I have been on. Another issue was that 90% of the time I could not go on the balcony or open the door due to the awful sewer smell. Very disappointed. I have no explanation for this as we were on deck 6 odd number cabin side mid ship. I did not hear anyone from the opposite side complain of this. The food was great as well as out dining service. Housekeeping I applaud for having 4 people in one room. The customer service on the ship in guest services and the bars especially the casino bar was terrible. I spent a lot of money for this cruise along with the bubble package and I felt very unimportant. I did a test one day at the casino bar and my drink sat empty for 15 minutes as 4 bartenders looked at my empty glass. Very upset. That is totally unacceptable. I WILL NEVER CRUISE THIS SHIP AGAIN AND MOST LIKELY NEVER CRUISE CARNIVAL AGAIN. I DID MAKE SOME FRIENDS THAT HAVE SAILED OTHER SHIPS IN THE CARNIVAL LINE AND SAID THAT THE CONQUEST HAD THE WORST SERVICE BY FAR. They will not be cruising aboard the Conquest ever again.
