My Partner (55) and I (63) have cruised with several lines over the years and this one is our 11th. We arrived at Port Everglades (Ft.Lauderdale) around 10:30, my first impression (gladly totally unfounded) was Ugh! Here we are at the Princess Port, and we are standing in line outside of the complex. Total confusion with passengers not sure where to go and VERY few Customer Service Reps informing passengers where to go and where to line up-the same line we are standing in, at the back of the complex you have passengers disembarking from the ship. Gladly that was the ONLY rough spot with the cruise.

We were on the ship by 11:45 am. Not Bad. The Ship is absolutely beautiful with lots of room and lots of places to roam around. Check out the Sky Walk. We (highly recommend) had lunch at Alfredo's which was delicious-I had a calzone and my partner had the Ham & Pineapple Pizza-BOTH were delicious. The Horizon Court Buffet was a real treat-food was hot and very tasty and the Pastry Court is unbelievable. Another feature we liked is that you sit at a table and the Servers ask you what you would like to drink, and the Servers bring it to your table. It's great cause you can be at the buffet getting your food, and not having to worry where to sit. International Cafe is open 24-7 we did not do the Coffee Card, my partner does not drink coffee, however I did purchase coffee each morning at the International Cafe. Did not try the Dining Room, nor any of the Specialty Dinning, it's just not our thing. Though we have done it in the past. Trident Grill was a great place to get hot dogs, hamburgs and chicken wings.

Movies under the Stars was great, saw 3 movies. We were in our room by 1:00 pm and one of the two suitcases was already outside our room. Cesar our Room Steward was very friendly, helpful and always made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. Our room was very clean and Cesar always made sure we had Ice in our Refrigerator. Not sure why so many previous Reviews complain about the size of the room and balcony, we thought both were big enough for the two of us. We did like the design of the closet (nice and big with lots of room to hang pants, shirts, etc) which faces the bathroom, not the room. Bathroom was comfortable not huge, but typical of size you see on other cruise lines.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Balcony

Cabin DW

Nice and comfortable room and balcony. To be honest, did not spend a lot of time in the room, but it certainly met our needs.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We live in Florida, so visiting Ft. Lauderdale we can and do visit often.

Princess Cays

Great first day, but watch out for the rocks-beach and the water has many rocks of all sizes. Some areas VERY difficult to walk in and out of the water.
