We booked two cruises back to back at the end of February. Since we live in South Florida, we check for price drops and amenities and book when the pricing is right for us. We drive to Port Everglades and use an off site parking company. It was a busy Sunday as there were about seven ships in port so it took some time to get to the terminal. Since we enjoy elite status we breezed through security and check-in and after about 10 minutes we were boarding the ship and able to access our room immediately. Even though we booked guarantee cabins, Princess did assign us the same stateroom for both cruises. Our cabin steward was a perfect fit for us and our wait staff in the dining room wonderful.

We chose the early seating & were assigned a table in Concerto. I always find food subjective when in a banquet setting but the food in the dining room at dinner was excellent. Both of us were pleasantly surprised as it exceeded our expectations. We had lunch in Alfredos a few times and enjoyed it as well. It was spring break and many families were onboard. It was refreshing to have children out and about. During the second week, there was an outbreak of noro but the staff handled it efficiently. The Commodore said it was capped at about 30 people so they did an excellent job preventing the spread of this illness.

Entertainment was better than average. The only reason I would not give them an excellent rating is because during the second week they would not post our onboard credits, even with proper documentation. It was eventually corrected after 4 days because of my tenacity. I have always found passenger services indifferent but this was a genuine mistake on their part.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Balcony

Plenty of storage space and even though the balconies on the Regal are small, it was good to have outdoor space.

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

Wanted to go to the french side so we walked out to the taxi stand and took an island tour.
