We had the best experience on the Valor! The crew, the food, the ship... Everything was wonderful! After a rough start (9 pm boarding with a 1:30 am sail away), due to an emergency on the sailing prior to ours, we had a great experience. Our cabin steward, Karma, was awesome. He made sure that our room was neat and tidy and kept our ice bucket full. The food on the Lido was plentiful, with lots of choices and we never waited in line behind more than two people! We only went to the main dining room once, but not for any particular reason, we were just too lazy to get ready for a sit down dinner! The ship was kept immaculate, with the crew constantly cleaning, and everyone was just so friendly. This was our eight cruise with Carnival and I think this was the best crew that we have ever experienced! Our only complaint would be the lack of "policing" at the main pool. There were chairs that were saved for hours, with no occupants, and MANY other passengers searching for open chairs. There were also a ton of kids on this sailing (spring break), and that isn't a big deal. What was a bit annoying, was the kids throwing a football in the main pool, and hitting other passengers and no one doing anything to stop them. I will never understand why parents think it's okay to take a break from parenting while they are on vacation...but that's another topic altogether.

As for the ports and shore excursions, we did snorkeling at Goff's Cay, in Belize and it was amazing! SO many fish and the rum punch was good! Mahogany Bay was beautiful and we just took advantage of the beach there..
