For starters, let me say that we had a genuinely good time on Solstice. The ship is absolutely beautiful, tasteful and comfortable. That said, there is always room for improvement - on any cruise. And there was some obvious oversights and a few things that left us scratching our heads. Here are my specific comments:

DESIGN AND DECOR: This is probably the most attractive cruise ship we've been on. It's obvious that a lot of time and attention was put into the design of the public spaces and it shows. Unlike a lot of cruise ships, there's nothing garish or tacky. Celebrity apparently hired some top designers and it's evident every place you go.

STAFF: In general, all of the staff on Solstice were extremely polite and deferential. We were always greeted with a smile. Perhaps the only exception was Guest Relations who were always polite, but a bit "frosty".

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 2B

Not enough closet space, wonderful balcony, some noise in the hallway in the mornings.
