Carnival Liberty - March 31 sailing

This was essentially a free comped cruise from the casino. Just pay grats, port fees and taxes. Upgraded to AFT cabin on empress deck (7449) for a small fee.

We are local to the Houston area so we did not have to fly in. Drove the morning of the cruise and had a 10:30-11:00 check in time. The staggered check in times works well in Galveston and we had no issues going in the terminal, through security and up stairs to get our sail and sign card. We might have been in line for 5 minutes. We were allowed to board around 11:20. No issues whatsoever. Very smooth embarkation.
