Equinox; 3/25/2016; a 5 if embarkation and debarkation had been better.

Celebrity Equinox 3/25/16-4/4/16

We sailed on the Equinox for 10 days starting 3/25/16 to the Eastern Caribbean. She was still the same great ship that we had sailed on to the Western Caribbean in Feb 2016. Fortunately this time we were able to book a sky suite whereas in Feb we could only get Concierge level because Aqua and Suites were sold out. We could not tell much difference in the quality of the food in the main dining room on the Feb cruise than we could in either Blu or Luminae on this cruise, but the selection in Blu and Luminae was a step above, and the privacy was considerably better. A lot of the staff and crew had changed, with a different Captain, Staff Captain, and Hotel Director vs. Feb 2016. We liked the crew in Feb, and these folks were also fantastic.

Our hostess, Kendall, in Luminae was fantastic; she always recognized us and gave us a good table for two, as we had requested. The rest of the Luminae crew were also great--Alex, Tyrone, Mateo, Dev, Rosario, Floyd, Nickolina, and Marlen; hope I did not omit anyone, but they were all so friendly and efficient, and we hope they are there on our next cruise on the Equinox this fall. Our suite butler, Robert, did a great job as well as his staff of Agnelo and Gede. The Michael's club concierge, Bartosz Moronski, did a fantastic job of arranging special events for suite guests. We had a special sail-a-way one evening with champagne on the heli pad with some of the senior officers, a martini tasting in Michael's Club with a great piano player, and a couple of other events we could not attend because we had conflicting commitments.
