After a horrid experience on the Discovery II we were frankly more of a mind to simply go home than to continue onto the next ship on our trip, The River Venture. Vantage showed good judgment in chartering buses for travel between ships after recent events in France and the trip went smoothly.

Simply put our experience on the Venture was comparable to prior Vantage experiences and helped ease the frustration of the first half of the trip. Our first thought was that the ship was spotless, the first briefing both interesting and extremely detailed with all necessary information.

The hotel manager, Restaurant manager and a server all greeted us happily from earlier travel on the River Splendor. Both the food and service were solid with the Restaurant Manager running an efficient and engaging staff and pitching in himself where necessary.
