This was my 4th cruise with Carnival and we have always had a great vacation. I am not impressed with this ship, bigger is not always better. I was unaware when I booked this cruise that it was spring break and there was going to be 1000 kids on-board. Everywhere you turned there was screaming, running, kids, with no parents in sight. One night we went to the tides pool and there was about 25 teenagers crammed into one hot tub, no security around. I would have chosen a different week to cruise.

We flew into FLL the day before the cruise, and rented a car to see some attractions in Miami. We stayed overnight in an airport hotel which offered us a shuttle to the miami cruise port. Our scheduled check-in time for the ship was for 1:30pm. When we arrived at the Breeze terminal there was a huge lineup of people waiting outside the empty air conditioned building in the heat. It was so unorganized and chaotic, I had never seen anything like it. When you asked an employee for information they just tell you to wait and you will be called. They had 2 signs...check-in and next check-in. This isn't the ships first sailing, they've done this before. Why wouldn't they have signs posted with each check-in time and formed lines with those times? That would make more sense!

We eventually got on board hooray! The ship is beautiful and big. Our cabin was on deck 2, an interior aft, I won't choose that again. We felt vibrations and heard noises from below us. We got early dining in the Blush dining room, which was a change I always did anytime dining before this cruise. Our table was right against this huge post which I didn't care for, but I liked our servers and I didn't want to change that. Food was great all over the ship, you'll never go hungry! We loved Guy's Burger Joint. Always very long line-ups for food in the buffet areas, unless you get there right when it opens. Also long and disorganized line-ups for getting off this ship at ports of call, 4000 people exiting 1 gangway all at once just crazy! How about each half of the ship exiting front or back gangways! Disappointed with the fun shop. I spent $20, on other Carnival ships I've spent $200.
