This was our fourth cruise in two years. We had previously sailed on the Reflection (Celebrity) the Getaway, the Sky and this cruise. Embarkation was smooth and reasonably quick. We arrived at the pier around 11:40 A.M. and we were on the ship around 1:00 P.M.. We went to the Garden Cafe and our first lunch was enjoyed as the food was great. The cafe was crowded as it usually would be as the staterooms were still being prepared. We enjoyed roaming around the ship and stopped into the internet cafe to get my pre-paid 250 mins set up. We also went up to the spa as we had paid for thermal spa packages ahead of time (highly recommended if in your budget) and were eager to see the facilities. The crew was friendly, helpful and all smiles for our first few hours on board. Once we were able to go to our staterooms I made it a point to meet our steward and introduce ourselves and also to request an additional sheet and duvet.
Our first two sea days were great to unwind and relax. We really enjoyed the thermal spa package and used it at least once a day. A couple of times I actually fell asleep while lounging and watching the sea ahead of us as the spa is right above the bridge.
The entertainment was quite enjoyable. The Tenors of Rock put on a great show, Sam Feddle the comedian was very funny and the on board production cast put on solid performances. There was entertainment available all over the ship and only the most anal individual would not be able to find something they could enjoy.
The cabin was a good size for the two of us. The bathroom was a little too small as we previously had mini suites on other ships. The cabin was in a good location and very quiet at night.
Did some shopping. Only stayed about two hours.
