Previously sailed on the Getaway, Spirit and Dawn. My wife and our two adult children each time. We all agreed that while all the previous cruises were great, this was the best of them all.

First, addressing a lot of previous negative comments. I am not a particular fussy person to start with and I am not going to let a few minor inconveniences ruin a hard earned, long awaited vacation. If you are prone to nit picking, I am sure you can find things to be upset about. I used similar previous experiences to make better decisions for this cruise and will use some experience from this cruise to improve future cruises. So I will start with some tips:

1.) Use a travel agent. They can shop around and get you cabins at reduced rate and access floors not show on the NCL website. Once the 90 day payment deadline kicks in, however, their hands get tied so you are pretty much locked into whatever you have booked at that point.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BD

Nice Cabin. Nice bathroom. Enough storage. Liked having adjoining balconies with the foldable divider.

Port Reviews

Miami

Bayside Marina area very nice place to start vacation the day/night before. Clean, safe. Took a cab to South Beach in the Afternoon. Dipped our toes in the ocean, got 1 drink then headed back to Bayside. Stayed at Holiday Inn Downtown. Seen better days but liked the location.

St. Thomas

Cab ride to Coki Beach. Lot of the inner Island pretty poor. Loved Coki Beach. Great place to snorkel. Get there early and Leave early especially when there are a lot of ships in town

Nassau

Stopped at Nassau before. Pretty seedy so decided to just stay on the ship and enjoy the things that were normally crowded. Fun going into and out of port, however. Beautiful water!
