Previously sailed on the Getaway, Spirit and Dawn. My wife and our two adult children each time. We all agreed that while all the previous cruises were great, this was the best of them all.

First, addressing a lot of previous negative comments. I am not a particular fussy person to start with and I am not going to let a few minor inconveniences ruin a hard earned, long awaited vacation. If you are prone to nit picking, I am sure you can find things to be upset about. I used similar previous experiences to make better decisions for this cruise and will use some experience from this cruise to improve future cruises. So I will start with some tips:

1.) Use a travel agent. They can shop around and get you cabins at reduced rate and access floors not show on the NCL website. Once the 90 day payment deadline kicks in, however, their hands get tied so you are pretty much locked into whatever you have booked at that point. Read more
