Traveled with children

This was our 2nd cruise, but our first with our children. Our children are 10 and 3. We left out of Galveston and were disappointed in the lines to get checked in. Once we were able to do that we didn't have to sit in the waiting room too long before our group was called to board. When we first arrived on the ship it was VERY crowded. We walked around and bit and got some lunch. Then we went to our room and laid around for a bit.

We really enjoyed the dive in movies and went every night. Our kids loved swimming while watching movies. We did sign our kids up for the Camp Carnival and they really seemed to enjoy it. Our oldest even got a medal for winning a dance competition.

We did the Seuss at Sea breakfast. It was enjoyable for the kids and decent food. This was definitely a more family friendly ship, which is why we picked it. There were a lot of kids and a lot of entertainment for them. We had a really good time and plan on taking them on another cruise soon.

Balcony

We had a balcony stateroom on deck 7. Unfortunately we had very loud neighbors and you could constantly hear people being loud in the hallways. Our room was nice and the balcony was nice. The location of our room was nice too we were close to the elevators and in the middle of the ship so we could easily access any part of the ship fairly quickly.

Port Reviews

Galveston

We didn't do an excursion in Galveston. I was disappointed with the ocean here. It was very dirty and not what I expected. We did have breakfast on the beach by the ocean the morning of embarkation, which was nice.
