My wife and I took numerous trips on the old Windjammer fleet in the 1980's and 1990's. We have chartered catamarans in the BVIs and Leeward Islands, and sail our own boat in Lake Michigan. This was our first trip on the Diamant with Island Windjammer and were very pleasantly impressed by the quality of the ship, the crew, and Island Windjammer support personnel.
Reservations were easy. The captain and crew were very friendly, attentive and professional. The meals were great. The itinerary was very good. We had been to most of these islands 2 or 3 times before, but the Captain was able to get us into anchorages we had not seen before.
We had strong winds most days, so our passages between islands included some great sailing in beautiful waters. Bequia is one of our favorite island in the Caribbean, and the tour arranged for us there was the most informative visit we have ever had.
the cabins are all small, but have sufficient storage. everything was clean and well maintained
