Traveled with children

We traveled with our 3 kids and niece, ages 14-16. Ship was completely booked. Overall we had a great trip. The weather was excellent and we loved all 3 stops, Aruba, Curacao and Grand Turk. This was our 8th cruise with Carnival in the last 3 years and 2nd on the Sunshine in the last year. We had a great trip and no major complaints. I'll list below our pros and cons but please keep in mind these are our opinions and I do realize everyone has their own tastes.

PROS:

- clean ship, didn't smell the sewage smell I've seen many post about.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8B

Very clean, spacious balcony room. Some extra storage space in this category room.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Very smooth and fast on and off the ship. $20 a day to park there though... Use LOTS OF HONOR, 15 minutes to port but excellent service.

Aruba

Beautiful... Palm beach by bus was the best deal out there. We paid $5 per person round trip.

Curacao

Mambo beach, food and shops are expensive but the beach is great. We walked all the way to the far left near the aquarium. Crystal clear water and great snorkeling.

Grand Turk

One of favorite stops!!! The aqua sports or tubing is a real rip off. Waited an hour for less then a ten minute ride at $20 per person. Awesome snorkeling and amazing beach area.
