This was our 10th cruise, 5th on RC, 1st on Oasis, so we feel like we have some cruise experience. We are family of four, 2 teens 13/16. We loved the Oasis, overall a fabulous cruise. Beautiful ship with all the "neighborhoods".
Entertainment: Cats is horrible! The performers were great, singing and dancing excellent but the story line is awful. Left at intermission. Kenny James was good, loved the adult comedy show (18+!), ice skating show was well done and also enjoyed Come Fly Away - borderline cheesy, but it is a cruise ship after all. Diving show great.
Dining: Windjammer set up is a disaster - consists of 4 or 5 round stations along with dessert, drinks, and burger stations. Selection was good, but people just seemed to walking in circles....mass confusion. Other than the pools, this was the only place on the ship where I was overwhelmed by crowds.
We had two rooms, one had the bed closer to window and other room closer to bathroom. Rooms were spacious, but felt with bed closer to window gave us more room. Rooms was clean, we enjoyed the tv selection for some late night viewing.
We did our excursions on our own using reviews on TripAdvisor. We went to Mr. Sanchos in Mexico, and used Reggae Tours to get to Doctor's Cave Beach in Jamaica. In Haiti (private island) was just a beach day.
