I thought we should make you aware that upon our return to New Orleans we discovered our truck had been broken into !! Come to find out that the lot that Norwegian recommend for Their guests to stay at has had trouble with stolen vehicles and cars being broken into. By the time we filed our police report with the harbor police - 2 cars had been stolen and 5 cars had been broken into - ours being one !! Prior to our cruise my husband and our friend parked our cars in the recommended lot and were approached and advise NOT to leave their tickets in the car - the guy that approached them just had his car stolen !! The ticket agent was telling everyone to place their tickets in their glove compartment !! Seems VERY fishy they were advising this and then this is exactly the way these stolen cars left the lot - with the tickets they were advised to leave in the car ! Our truck door will have to be completely replaced since the damage is to bad ! I am a GOLD member with Carnival and they have a secure lot - never have I had this issue with them. I must say I gave Norwegian a chance and was extremely disappointed on board and then just to have my truck vandalized sealed the deal - NEVER again !!!

On board it seemed that there was not enough staff to handle the crowd - our poor waiter at dinner ran his head off - and no one seemed to care - our dinner took 3 and a half hours !! The bar staff seemed irritated with us just asking for drinks ! One gentleman never said Hi - Thanks - Good bye or nothing !! This was at the Bar on the upper level looking down over the pool. Thank fully Ronaldo and Elmer were great to make up for their co-workers rudeness !! Several people commented how horrible this bartender was ! The Sports Bar had two bartenders and one waiter - we had to stand in line and wait 15 minutes when we wanted a drink - this was COMPLETELY ridiculous ! I am an avid cruiser and vacation no other way - but I will not do Norwegian again and will advise my friends and family to do the same - VERY disappointing !! And to boot I have been on hold with their customer service now for over an hour - NEVER NEVER NEVER again !!!!!!!
