After many cruises on Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Holland America, and Carnival decided to give Princess a try. Had 2 Mini-Suites on deck 15-Marina. Me and my spouse (early 50's) and my 17 year old daughter and her friend (HS graduation cruise!)

Embarkation: Got at port 10:30 am and got in line outside, once doors opened it moved fast. While in line my daughter said "Dad my passport expired 4/15" Sure enough she was right. We got them as a family in 2010 and i didn't realize that adult passports are good for 10 years and minors only 5. (If you are traveling with kids you may want to check this to avoid issues at the terminal) We advised a worker who whisked us to an office. We called our son who happened to be home from college for Easter and he texted us a picture of her birth certificate and also emailed a copy to the ship per their instruction. The worker then escorted us to the front of the check in line. had us checked in quickly then she took us around the back and straight to the gangway avoiding all lines and waiting areas. She actually walked us all the way aboard the ship. Her level of service was above and beyond. She turned a moment of panic into a very positive situation.

The Ship: Very elegant, very traditional. Extremely clean. I had read reviews on here that the Regal was already looking worn. I did not notice that anywhere?
