Sail Date: Mar 2016
Cabin: Aft-Facing Penthouse with Large Balcony

Sailed on the Dawn from NOLA on March 13, 2016 with my wife. Ports were Cozumel, Belize, Rotan Bay, Costa Maya. This was my first cruise and after sailing it won’t be my last good Lord willing. First let mention the staff on the Dawn could not have been more helpful or courteous, they really made us feel like part of the family. A few honorable mentions were our Cabin Steward Winshor who made us feel very elite, he always met us with a smile and asked if we needed anything. Winshor’s towel creations were awesome and a welcome site on returning in the evening to our cabin. Hanno Meyer our Concierge who is from Germany was extremely informative and eager to always make sure we had what we needed. Meeting him each night at the Stardust Theater, where he had us reserved seating, was a joy. In fact we showed up early just to have a conversation with him.

Our Butler Henry was always around to get anything we wanted or answer questions, his pizza delivery to us on the balcony was truly a treat, those finger sandwiches and fresh fruit each night were truly a treat.

Richard the cruise director and staff always had something going on to entertain you. We saw seven shows that in my opinion were all along the quality of the shows you see in Branson, thoroughly enjoyed seeing them.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Penthouse with Large Balcony

Cabin SF

Our Cabin 10228 was the aft facing Penthouse Suite. The room had plenty of space and was clean. The balcony on the back afforded us an amazing views and we spent a lot of time relaxing there. The bathroom was plenty big even for a larger guy as myself. The bed was very comfortable. The cabin area was extremely quite hardly ever heard anything. I think I could take up permanent residence in the cabin.
