We've cruised 3 times with another company and decided to give RCI a go after hearing such rave reviews of their ships and service. We did 10 days out of Brisbane with our 10 year old son.

Upon boarding, we were a little baffled as to where to go. No-one greeted us apart from two of the kids club staff who pretty much grabbed our son and proceeded to put a security bracelet on his arm with little explanation.

We found our way to our cabin (deck 3) by ourselves and were pleased with the layout (beds pushed together to make double with Pullman overhead for son). The wardrobe is much smaller than other ships but the bathroom is normal for a stateroom and was very clean and recently updated. It had a kettle and cups so we were initially happy that we could make a coffee in our cabin. No such luck. You can make tea but not coffee (what?!!). Hint - take your own.

Mystery Island

Love this island!

Champagne Bay (Vanuatu)

Good snorkelling. Take reef shoes - very rough shore areas.

Lifou

Would have loved to go to Leucila as have done previously but no options.

Best snorkelling here this trip. Pay $15 over the hill or just jump in near pier.
