This was our first cruise but we traveled with 4 friends all of which have cruised before. All 6 of us are in our 30's. Check in in NY was fine, no major issues, we parked at the port for $40 a night and walked with our luggage to check in. Check in had lines, but it was about what I would have expected- I think the whole process took about an hour, we got there real early. After a quick lunch we went in search of drinks. We then mustered and met in the uptown grill/bar for disenbarkment. Sipped on the drink of the day- cherry limeades, good, sweet, can't have too many of these. Got a picture of the statue of liberty before going inside- it was cold!

Food reviews-

Day 1- Lunch- Once checked in we walked on the ship and found the buffet, I ate some cold salads and others in my group enjoyed food off the grill or pizza. Dinner- Mix Bar near taste and savor had an Easter candy bar set up and we ate dinner in Savor- most of our group had the Easter ham entrée or lamb. It was fun how they had Easter stuff around the ship.
