My husband and I took our first cruise on Liberty of the Seas and not knowing what to expect we were pleasantly surprised and Royal Carribean set the bar high.

First for the good things: food in Windjammer was good. Always crowded but for a quick buffet style meal it was good. All the staff was friendly and really genuinely seemed to be committed to us having a good experience. Our stateroom was very roomy. We had an interior room, it was hard to tell day from night, the bed was comfortable, tons of storage space and cabin steward did a great job keeping our room clean and tidy. We chose 530 dining and we got a table by the window and had impeccable service every night.

Now for the negatives, the elevator situation sucked. The majority of the time we had to walk up and down stairs because the elevators took so long or were always full when they arrived. The adult pool was very small for the amount of people on the ship. Tons and tons of kids. We knew kids would be on the cruise and we didn't really have a problem with them, they ran around a lot unattended running into people playing on the elevators, disrupting shows and activities.

Very roomy. Bed was comfortable, room was always kept clean and fresh. Along way from elevator but everything was a walk
