Our trip got off to a rocky start. We had mechanical problems with our plane and had to switch planes. This delayed us by 2 hours. We flew into San Juan late, and it was the busiest time of day. By the time we landed, we had to wait an hour for our Royal Caribbean transportation to drive us to the ship.

We were on-board by 5:00pm. This is my first cruise and my husband's second. The ship was beautiful. We found our cabin and were glad we had a balcony. Noticed our room had a slight musty smell, so we aired it out before we went to dinner.

Food overall was excellent. The service was excellent the first couple of days in the dining room, but fell short of expectations the rest of the week. The overall service was slow. Other tables were done with dessert and we had just begun dinner(multiple nights). We had to share menus one night, as my husband was not given a menu. Two of us were served dinner before our appetizer and had to complain to get our appetizers because they never came. We did speak up, and they did apologize. The overall impression was good but not great.
