Sail Date: Mar 2016
Traveled with children

Travelled with family in March 2016 and what a superb holiday was had by all. From embarkation to disembarkation friendly helpful staff. Staff ensured cabin was clean timeously and were eager and willing to assist with our requests.

All restaurants were visited and pleasant experiences were had by all except for Theme night at the Galeone Restaurant on Deck 5. Think the old gentleman that was in charge needs a shift in his attitude, too abrupt and a little rude but a trip to the La Terrazza buffet area soon had us smiling with very friendly staff from the cleaning staff to serving station staff to the person in charge who more than willingly accommodated our requests for vegetarian meals or just chatting with us. There was always something that we could find to enjoy in the buffet area. Just don't like the smell of the cold cuts. Should perhaps be in closed serving domes. Not a burger, chips, pasta or pizza person, but did try it. Hot and readily available. Queues for ice cream a bit long but expected with number of patrons.

Casino, Theatre, Spa visited and thoroughly enjoyed. My 11 year old enjoyed movies at the business centre while Hubby and I had some alone time in the jacuzzi. Back on Sinfonia in April 2016 for its final Durban trip until later in the year when the ship returns so look out for my next review.
