There wasn't a great deal to do on the ship wished they sold some sort of books in the shops. The ship was full of children that ran the ship with no parents with them. I can not tell you the times I was almost ran into or over by these children. I believe the ships need to have the parents control their kids at all times or put them in the camps provided. I didn't enjoy any open area for relaxing because of the children running through the decks.

When we checked in to go on the ship. The lines were short but we spend a few hours in the tent outside waiting to board the ship. The outdoor bathroom smell was horrible and everyone was complaining about the smell. There was no room to relax in the adult pool either it was taken over by 21 plus very drunk young adults so I didn't get to swim on the ship either.

The dining room food was nice and at least one drink should be included in your cheers program not added to your bill at the cost of $20 for a glass of wine. That mistake will not be made again. I am also going to go to a different cruise line next time and not go into a least one of the ports. There is really nothing to see that that port. Also if you wait to get off the ship the book your excursion it is 1/2 the price for the same thing if you book it on the ship.

Cabin Review

Aft-View Extended Balcony

Cabin 8M

The cabin was small but had enough space for our items. The furniture and bedding were worn and dated. It needs to be updated. The room itself which had a wonderful view and nice balcony was just over one the night clubs so it was loud and sleeping was restless and fitful until at least 1 am when they shut the music off. We didn't sleep well at all because of that noise. I brought Clorox wipes on board and when we got to the room it was ready so I wiped everything down and the bathrooms were not cleaned well. I found hair in the showers and on sink that was not ours. I wiped everything down and I am glad I did. I don't think they do a very good job of cleaning the rooms between people at all. Also along with the 21 plus group they seem to like to throw food and what not overboard and a lot of that ended up on my balcony in which I cleaned up including food. Just wasn't happy with the unruly kids and just adult drunk people on board. It was not relaxing at all. I won't be traveling Carnival cruise again
