We have just returned from Cruise on P & O Britannia from Caribbean to Southampton and don’t normally write reviews but wanted to on this occasion. New boat – really! Seemed quite tatty in some areas. Cabins were good but balconies very small. Only just fitted the two of us – no way could you recline. No stairs in midship to upper levels. We had a few complaints from disabled people who had been waiting a long time for a lift but using a lift was our only option.

Atrium felt lifeless. Entertainment poor. Not much selection unless you were a health freak and then most of it seemed to be in the spa. Food excellent but quantity in Meridian restaurant lacking (two slices of meat and one roast potato). Horizon buffet good but chaos sometimes. There seemed no queuing system and a mismatch of foods together sometimes.

We went outside on deck 7 on a few occasions and twice found a mess. The first time some old cable ties and mess where workmen had been, no sign of workmen just mess. The second time was mid morning on the last full day, glasses and trays which looked like debris from night before not cleared away.
