Boarding the ship was the quickest ever with no queues.
We were advised that due to possibly some problems in Bali, we would not go there. Instead spend the first night in Singapore and spend another night at Darwin.
Some were upset by this, especially some of the crew who had family in Bali.
We would have preferred an inside cabin. Our ocean view did not have block out curtains and we had to put cushions at the door to stop light entering. Early in the morning the room was light due to the sun rising. Inside cabins are reasonably dark when you shut the door and you can have a sleep at any time of the day.
Our cabin was well set out and quite roomy, it was about a foot wider than that of our friend who had a balcony on 9. There was only one spot with power points, next to the desk. The bath room was well set out with a shower much bigger than most ships.
As usual, there was no suitable place to hang your towels, only a couple of tiny rails and some hooks on the door. The night light was terrific.
Been to Singapore a few times before and always enjoy it
Very hot and muggy but been there many times. We took the local bus for $1 for 3 hours and went to Casuarina shopping centre.
Tender port then a bus to Cairns. Worth a visit
Closed for Easter Sunday but at least the bus was free from the Grain Terminal to Brisbane.
