One of the only things we got to look at during half of this disgusting exp
This was our view of the port....a steel town ...completely depressed
Our only activities were watching cargo ships...in the rain.
When the generator FINALLY arrived...we thought we were getting out of this
This was the view from he front of the ship for FIVE DAYS.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY WITH NO INTEGRITY. This was not a cruise. This was FALSE ADVERTISING We traveled half way across the world and got stuck in a sewer in Santos, Brazil from Saturday February 28, 2016 until we finally reached Rio on Thursday morning. We sat for 5 days in the rain with a noisy power plant right next to the ship. Trains ran through the neighboring facility at all hours of the night. Garbage on the water and no activities for anyone under the age of 80. They only had needlepoint (1 day crochet) and bridge. They made a handicapped woman walk up a flight of steps the last night from the ground to the fifth floor. No one from the crew helped this poor woman. They had some good musicians on the ship but did not have them play even one minute more during this tragedy.

The gym equipment was not functional and quite dangerous. The steam room smelled like mold as soon as you opened the door. DISGUSTING!!!!

There was a stomach virus on the ship and we were not able to board so the cruise started late. This ship is going to be refurbished and SHOULD NOT HAVE GONE ON THIS VOYAGE.

Buenos Aires

DIRTY....if you like scrap metal...this is the trip for you. I doubt that any of the Regent's people went out to experience these excursions. I am itching just thinking about how dirty the tray on this boat was.

Santos (Sao Paulo)

There was not one orchid to be found. There were rats, mice..I thought they other version was a sewer rat. Very large and furry and walking along the paths along side of us.

Rio de Janeiro

This was nice...we were in TEARS because we FINALLY got to see something other than garbage. The tour guide was a man who spoke English. Most of the others did not. We had quite a few older passengers: walkers, wheel chairs and oxygen tanks...it took a while for them to get around which was fine...until we got back to the ship at 2:15. We ran to the dining room but they closed promptly at 2:00 and we were denied any food. YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP!!1
