We arrived in Galveston from three ports to enjoy our first family vacation ,this party of eight. This was our first time out of Galveston , usually we leave out of anywhere in Florida and IT WAS A MESS!!! Not accounting for the cold weather, which is totally out of anyones control, IT SEEMED LIKE A CATTLE CALL! Herding them up and getting them in. people everywhere and no order, or speakers so that the workers could be heard. Then on board, I felt sorry for an elderly gentleman and his wife ( she was on oxygen and in a wheel chair) it was their first cruise. He was told to go to the service desk and inform them his wife had oxygen. He was standing in line ( he parked his wife) behind us clearly in distress because he was afraid his wife would run out of oxygen before the line moved. So having traveled on Carnival before I told him to go to the front and let them know his situation the remedy they gave him was to get back in line. He stood for a minute or ten and then we told him to just go to his room and call..Poor guy, he said he would never cruise again!!
In our room wee put our luggage under the bed and pushed out literature from the previous cruise, hummmm!
It rained every day at sea no problem the comedy clubs , casinos , and family made it bearable...because the cruise director was oh so very terrifically BORING and if he picked his team how exciting were they. We were eating and there was dried food on the tile wall of the ledo deck inside , dust in the window sills , and the cloth backs of the booths were starting to shine. GOOD JOB GUYS!!! BURGERS GREAT!!!! SERVICE IN THE DINING ROOM ..OKAY!!
