It started off by having cloudy and windy weather the first 2 1/2 days so that spoiled the pool area time...it was also very chilly when we left Houston. We had the Specialty Dining for four nights...Great Food...we ate in the Le Bistro twice which was our favorite, the Moderno and at Cagney's. Thought they were all slow getting plates picked up and your next entree served to you, food could have been warmer sometimes. Anything shrimp was great...steaks were great. Had a Flounder in the Alazar...choose something better. Almost forgot the Blue Lagoon...Has great WINGS for a good quick snack or lunch, the Chicken Tenders are not that great, the Mac and Cheese is fair and they also have a Fruit/Danish Bar and more--the Breakfast here is made to order so it is good..just order extra ham if ordering an omelet...they don't put much meat into the omelet. I think the food is much better on the NCL versus Royal Caribbean even in the buffet.
The snrokeling and swimming at Tabyana Beach was fun especially for beginners..they had all the necessary equipment including a life vest for all swimmers. Went to A Tun to see the maya ruins...that was fun. Our guides..Paula on the bus and Evon at the ruins were very knowledgeable host. Paula was great for the city like tour on the way to the beach.
We had three people in a room with a picture window and a fold down bed. We were good on space.
Was satisfactory. Could have been 2-3 inches longer in the toilet area--lol--more room than Royal Caribbean or Carnival.
