We are a family of three with an 8 year old. We traveled with my parents in law. We loved it, they didn't seem to like the dining options, and varying times. I suspect that many negative reviews are from people like them, who do not want to have to find someplace to eat every night and like the traditional cruise, slower pace more.

We loved the stateroom, lots of storage. The food varied from excellent to mediocre, but that really didn't affect our opinion of the cruise overall. If you don't like something, you will never go hungry on the ship.

We took advantage of the iFly, northstar and Seaplex. All the activities really added to our experience. Service overall was great! All the bartenders, servers and the rest of the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had an incident in Vintages where two officers basically shut down service because they wanted to fraternize with attractive female passengers. I talked to one of the officers about this, and he really just shrugged off what I said. Then come to find out, the guy drinking behind the bar is Ron who is the Hotel Director. I went to customer service about this and they were ineffectual. Of course, this guy is essentially their boss, so what can they say? When I said something to a bar tender later, they just rolled their eyes about him, which makes me wonder if this is usual behavior.
