Our recent cruise on Freedom of the Seas was fantastic! I must say the best yet. The crew are were very friendly & attentive, always willing to assist, answer questions and provide wonderful information about themselves. After just a short time we had made some beautiful friendships and were sad to be leaving them.
The ship is beautiful, I love the promenade, so easy to navigate to anywhere and be in the center of what is going on. The food was very good and our waiters-( miss you Wilfred and Nizar!)-were outstanding, we will miss them the most.
The entertainment was excellent, where else can you get a fabulous dinner and show every night, beautiful scenery, amazing ports, etc.
Beautiful room, similar layout to other ships. We had an adjoining room so the loveseat was replaced by a chair to accommodate for the door between rooms. On arrival we asked our room steward to unlock the adjoining door and balcony divider. This was so convenient for our group of four for gathering with morning coffee with an amazing view or for drinks at night.
Wonderful!
Went on the historic trolley tour and saw the real Jamaica. The port is beautiful but if it weren't for the small amount of real Jamaican artisans it could be any shopping area anywhere. I wish the Jamaicans would benefit more from the tourism. On the trolley tour we had the pleasure of being guided by Monique. she is a gem. We brought school supplies ^ toys for the local children and Monique arranged for a stop at a school during our tour. Seeing and hugging those wonderful excited, happy children warmed our hearts and made our trip so special.
Very easy drive to port, organized and swift entry on to ship
Affordable, informative tour, dropped us off at the beach afterwards, loved it!
Took a taxi to the Central Plaza, enjoyed wonderful Mexican food and margarita's while being serenaded by a mariachi band at Palmero's. Great shopping but be prepared to haggle.
