Our Dreamliner flight out from Manchester to Barbados was about 30 mins late taking off but was a good trip The crew looked after us well. On arrival at Barbados we left the plane and onto coaches to the port( no immigration or customs) Check in was smooth and onto ship where we were shown to our cabins. Our cases arrived shortly after. We have had bigger cabins but we only sleep in them. The bath room small but it was good to have a cabinet to keep things in.We always had hot water. We always had dinner in the Meridian Restaurant would like to thank Jing and his assistant. They looked after us well and we managed to get them for the 2 weeks also a big thank you to our wine waiter’s Rubins and Nedloyd. We tried the lido for breakfast and lunch a few times but preferred the waiter service in the Meridian
The ship it’s self is not new it is kept spotlessly clean by the cleaning staff who always have smile and a hello. Lots of things going on in the daytime on board to entertain you if you do not go ashore. In the evening we mostly went to Hemingways bar .There we got Alan Davidson on the piano and Heart and soul both very good The bartenders Hector and Marvin very good also the waiting on staff were very good never kept us waiting long for a drink. We did go to Horizons and couple of times very nice but found it a little dark in there. The shows very good and we loved the crew show which is done once a week. I would also like say hello and great to see you again Hazel in the theatre bar again.
All stops were good. We did some of the ships excursions but found them expensive .so mostly got a taxi or mini bus excursions which were always available outside the port.
It was ok 2 beds l shape lists of storage.Small bathroom
