This was our 3rd cruise and first with Celebrity. We were travelling with first time cruisers and had them very excited about the experience on board a cruise ship. Unfortunately Celebrity Eclipse did not live up to our expectations. We were booked in Aqua class and were led to believe we were going to be given an upgraded experience on this cruise. Yes we received priority boarding but that is were priority ended. Our room was great but no bigger than an cabin with a balcony. We were given access to Blu restaurant which was amazing and the food was always fantastic. Our cabin staff could not do enough for us they were great.

The Activities: what activities???? There were no fun little competitions that we had been offered on Princess and Royal Caribbean. Not even a shuffleboard court. The lawn area offered free play but most of the lawn area was roped off for our cruise with strict rules for people wanting to use the lawn.

The Service: the majority of staff on the ship don't know how to smile. If your asked a question you got a blank look as if they didn't understand or couldn't be bothered as it was all to hard.
