We love NCL Getaway, and this was our 6th cruise, 3 NCL; 1 Princess, 1 Celebrity, and 1 Royal Caribbean.

Ship

The ship is beautiful, big and very clean. It is easy to navigate, however and we were fortunate enough to be close to the elevators. We never had much of a wait for the elevators. Cigarette smoke was never an issue as others had complained about. We had a great room steward, Anna, who kept our room well attended to. She was enjoyable to talk to, I could not have asked for a sweeter person. We had her empty our mini frig out and we stocked it with Diet Coke and water we bought on board with us. (Only Pepsi products on the ship and water quite pricey to buy) Remember to grab an old hotel key to put in the slot in your room to keep your power on. That way you can keep your ship card in your pocket. We avoided the pool area; we are not big fans of sitting in the sun. The slides and rope course looked fun if I was 20 years younger.
