Review

Just returned on March 13, from my 3rd cruise on the Breakaway. We had a great time as always. This year we splurged for a Haven Suite and it was well worth it. We were traveling with our 16 month old son and 11 year old daughter so the extra space was greatly appreciated. We had the opportunity to meet Prem Kainikkara Hotel Director and Djamel Benatmane , food and beverage Director on several occasions. Prem is wonderfully funny and has a great rapport with the passengers. Djamel is very friendly and I enjoyed running into him all over the ship. He always said hello and engaged in conversation whenever we ran into him. Always a pleasure to see him. He always made time to stop and chat with us, especially the baby.

This time around, we dined in the specialty restaurants and the Haven restaurants mostly. The Haven restaurant was the best. Every meal was fantastic. Service was excellent. The staff went above and beyond to attend to our allergies and accommodate my son who is a handful. We were always treated well. Teppenyaki was fun and delicious. Moderno is always a favorite. Cagneys and Ocean's blue were top notch. Staff again were incredible. Food and beverage exceeded my expectations. I have been in the industry for many years and will say this is best food I have ever had on a cruise. Quality and variety were superb.
