Sail Date: Mar 2016
Cabin: Ocean View

My mother and I sailed on our first cruise from March 14-19, 2016 on the Carnival Sensation out of Miami, FL. We flew in the day before and taxied to the port--the hotel informed us on arrival that their shuttles were full--but the taxi was a better deal anyway and much faster.

We had Faster to the Fun which is worth it! We made it through check-in and security no problem and after a short wait in the port we were on the ship and in our room in no time.

We were on deck 7 room E-114 which was an oceanview room; it was very clean and our room Steward Calvert helped keep it that way with his great service. Again with FTTF we were able to skip the long line at Guest Services and after quickly choosing our cabana for Half Moon Cay at Shore Excursions we were on our way to the pool and Lido for our first drink and lunch by 1pm.

Ocean View

Cabin 6D

Our cabin was perfect size for two people, very clean, just wished we could've controlled/adjusted the air condition better.

Port Reviews

Grand Turk

Margaritaville had the best chicken quesadilla ever!

Miami

Embarkation was quick and unstressful with Faster to the Fun.

Half Moon Cay

We rented a cabana and it was worth every penny.

Nassau

Since we weren't with a large group we didn't get off the ship here after hearing so many stories of sex trafficking; I've heard if you do shore excursions with a group its really nice away from the port.
