We had a great time on the Liberty March 13-20. My 7 year old was plenty entertained with the rock wall, pools, water slides (she was too short for Flowrider), ice skating, mini golf, DreamWorks character photo ops, and her WAY too many trips to Sorrentos for pizza. She went to Adventure Ocean and had a great time, begging to go every evening. This gave my husband and I the opportunity to hang out the in Schooner Bar and play trivia and have some drinks while she played. We watched the Ice Show, played Bingo, saw Kung Fu Panda 3 in 3D, watched the ship version of the newlywed game (hilarious!) and met a lot of great people.
We ate in the main dining room every night except the night leaving Belize. There was an accident on the highway backing up traffic and tenders were running way late. We didn't get back to the ship until well after our dining time so we just hit up the Windjammer. Food was great all around and service was excellent.
We went snorkeling in Roatan on a ship excursion (Lobsters, Iguanas and Snorkeling with National Geographic Snorkeler). It was amazing. Beautiful water, great beach, a very knowledgeable guide, and Iguana Island was a nice treat at the end. We went on a private cave tubing excursion in Belize (cavetubing.bz) which was also really great. We had another great guide and really appreciated not having to carry our tubes up the trail as we watched all the other tourists struggle with theirs. In Cozumel we took a taxi to Paradise Beach and had a great day. The kiddo enjoyed the water activities while we enjoyed the chairs, umbrellas, and good wait service.
