I was a first-time cruiser, but two others in our party were seasoned. There was a good blend of people on the ship; older, younger, families, couples, etc. We made friends with just about every type of person, and especially with the staff. They were genuine, caring, funny people who we could not get enough of. A lot of the less than positive reviews of this trip seem to be from people who may have not been able or who may have just not wanted to put themselves out there. Our group had a blast, and we all agreed it was the best vacation we ever had. I was skeptical of a cruise as a vacation because I love to just hangout by the beach and relax. However, after this cruise I am 100% sold on going through Norwegian for my annual vacations. Overall, we easily got our bang for the buck.

I had no expectations of the cabin (inside cabin), but it was very clean and efficient. Obviously it was small, but I was really only in it to change or sleep. The room staff we had in our area was extremely attentive and fun to interact with.

We ate at the three main dining halls every night, and the Wasabi sushi place for lunch once. The sushi was amazing, highly recommended. The main dining halls were fantastic. We had a waiter the first night who was so much fun we switched a couple reservations to have him again. O'Sheehan's is also a must, we ate there probably twice a day (breakfast and snacks). The Garden Cafe had an awesome buffet and there was food for everyone for any meal.

Cabin Review

Inside Stateroom

Clean, appealing, efficient, and the staff always made sure it stayed that way. Make sure to request towel animals!

Port Reviews

New York (Manhattan)

It was pretty great to sail out of NYC. You see the Statue of Liberty on the way out.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

$15 to go to Cocoa Beach and back. The beach was not crowded and it was a fun day. The pier had some good food, and the shop where they drop you off had a live shark and eel feeding.

Great Stirrup Cay

Holding and feeding a stingray is an experience like no other. The wranglers were very close with the animals and it was really cool to see them interact. If you want to book one excursion, this is the one!

Nassau

One of the nicest beaches in the world, and besides the constant tourist hecklers (just tell them to leave you alone), the beach was breathtaking. $4 each way to get to the beach and it is well worth it!
