Just spent four nights on the Explorer of the Seas down to Hobart and back. We had a fantastic time. The ship was just wonderful. Alas the weather was mostly atrocious which put paid to sitting out on deck but it didn't seem to matter much. The pool and missionary cookpots seemed to be well used and I never heard a whinge or a moan the whole cruise. Two of us, we both had Balcony Cabins, 8336 and 8638. Nice clean spacious comfortable and relaxing. Had Mytime Dining option and had no trouble securing bookings when we wanted them.

Food was much better than expected in the Sapphire Dining Room and Windjammer Marketplace. Some recent cruises on other lines have me wary. Its been a couple of years since we did RCCL and it was nice to be back. The staff were a delight. After P&O Australia (recently) it was a reminder of what cruising was like and should be like and is still like on the right cruise line.

Embarkation - we arrived after 3pm - and Disembarkation - we self assisted and followed the dead easy instructions - were a breeze. The same was for Hobart it was all easy and well organised.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

Wonderful. Nice and clean and well maintained. Room Steward was a delight.

Plenty of hot water, and air-con that worked, four great pillows etc etc.

And tea and coffee making facilities. Balcony was clean and free of salt build-up

and the furniture worked.
