I read a lot of reviews before the cruise and as usual if you are the type of person that complains about everything do not go on a cruise. Carnival Dream is a large ship but is very crowded. There are always lines at every eating station from buffets to ice cream to pizza. Just know you will wait in line anytime you want to eat. The food overall is barely above average but again this is what to expect with this type of cruise. Think of a little worse than Golden Corral with less selections.

The Dining room food is not much better but going in we knew this. The wait staff is very understaffed so dinner will take a very long time. The only issue I had with this cruise was yes it is spring break so there is always a lot of kids but there were a lot of younger kids without parents anywhere. So they do whatever they want which gets tough after 7 days. This is not really Carnivals fault it is just poor parenting. Carnival provided the kids club use it so you kids are not doing cannon balls into the hot tub.

I was a little surprised how crowded such a large boat felt but again we know during spring break what to expect. The balcony room was nice and had plenty of room even with my wife and two daughters. The boat is in good condition not sure why people have made comments that it was not. It is clean especially considering the amount of people who seemed to go out of their way to make messes.
