First review ever but my 17th cruise, mostly with Princess. Embarkation went smooth and we boarded in minutes. The Island Princess is an older ship but still beautiful. We LOVE the new location and layout of the horizon court. The food selection was amazing and lunch and dinner options changed daily.

We have always enjoyed cruising but I have to say that the Canal cruise did attract an older crowd. We are both a young 54 and love active. Some if not most of the activities targeted an older crowd but if that's my only issue I can live with that.

Main dining room was what you would suspect from any Princess ship, good variety and nice service. We chose traditional to avoid the problem we read about in other reviews but met a couple and joined then for anytime and had no problem walking right up and getting a table for 4.

Port Reviews

Cartagena (Colombia)

Awesome tour of old town, walled city Fort and 1700 Cathedral. Dora was amazing, money well spent

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

4th time with this tour. 3 snorkel stops, sting ray city and a great beach lunch at a resort marina. Perfect day.

Aruba

nice sand beaches but not much to see at this little island.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Tanya was great as our airboat guide and the gator show is fun and informative.
